She soon met the animal making the call. It was eating sap too. This creature was much bigger than Acacia, with a brownish back and a beautiful soft, yellow coloured tummy.

At first Acacia was worried it might not want to share this tasty sap-filled tree, but she need not have worried.

“Hello” said the creature. “Don’t be afraid. My name is Mellow and I’m a glider too. I’m a Yellow-bellied Glider. I’m going to introduce you to some of my friends”.
