Sipping on Banksia Flower - Abi Andrews

One of the younger gliders spotted some tall flower spikes on a Banksia tree. “Mmmmm…. My favorite” she cried as she launched herself toward these yellow, tasty whorls.

Father Glider was less interested in the Banksia flowers. “My favorite food is Honeydew” he explained. “See these little insects? They feed on the tree sap then make a sweet tasting honey”.
