Each day the animals met to discuss what the Humans were doing to help save their forest.

The humans take to the streets - Abi Andrews

The Black Cockatoos told of seeing lots of signs and banners along the roads and at the houses in the closest towns.

The Flying-foxes said that they saw a big crowd of people gathered in the centre of the nearby city.

"They were making lots of noise - chanting 'Save Bungabbee Forest'. We’ve never seen so many humans in one place - it looked just like a bat colony” they laughed.

The Kookaburras had heard that humans were writing to important people - people who were able to make decisions to stop the logging.
