Mellow, the Yellow-bellied Glider, told Acacia that a lot more animals had moved to Bungabbee since the recent fires. 

“So many other forests were burnt and many animals died. Those that could escape the fires had to find new homes. They are refugees” Mellow explained. “Some of these animals, like the Potaroo and Marbled Frogmouths used to be common but now there are not many of them left. We need to work together to protect them and help them to survive”.
